Purpose / Objective:
The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planning Engineer effectively plans for and supervises skilled maintenance E&I craftspeople in performing the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education in the field of activity or secondary professional (technical) education in the field of activity
- knowledge of legislative, other normative legal acts, methodical and normative-technical materials on organization of repair of equipment, buildings, structures;
- 3 years of work experience at a CIP or other extracting production facilities
- communication skills, trainability, diligence, competent oral and written speech profile
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all electrical systems and equipment.
- Responsible for requisitioning of electrical and instrumentation maintenance parts including contracted services and maintaining work specifications.
- Must work closely with Electrical and Instrumentation Control maintenance personnel, engineering, purchasing, and outside contractors daily.
- Create, prioritize, and manage work orders for electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion.
- Identifies resource constraints and develops plan priority and schedule adjustments based on the analysis
- Consults with facility supervisors, trades personnel, engineering directors, and others to coordinate plans, identify needs, and plan priorities and adjustments.
- Report on backlog, planned work and cost performance
- Develop maintenance plans and schedules in a cost-effective manner.
- Define parts and materials by developing and updating equipment Bill of Materials (BOM).
